Terms of Service

Last updated: 5 November 2026

These terms cover your use of itsyomtov.com. By using the site, you agree to them. We have tried to write them in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.

They sit alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains what information we collect and what we do with it.

The short version

It’s Yom Tov is a free site of holiday ideas. We don’t sell anything ourselves: when you buy something, you buy it from the shop we link to, and that shop is responsible for your order. Our crafts, games and printables are for your own family, classroom or community. And please keep a grown-up close by when there are scissors, glue guns or candles involved.

Who we are

It’s Yom Tov collects gifts, crafts, menorahs, table ideas and activities for the Jewish holidays from around the web and links to the shops that carry them. The Chagim family (Ima, Abba, Mordy and Mindy) are our illustrated characters, and their stories on the site are written for fun.

Shopping through our links

We don’t sell products, take payments or ship orders. When you click a product link you go to another shop, such as Amazon, Walmart or an independent vendor. Anything you buy there is a purchase from that shop, under its own prices, terms, shipping and return policies. Questions about an order, a delivery or a refund go to the shop you bought from.

Some links on this site are affiliate links. It’s Yom Tov is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com, and we may earn a commission when you buy through our links. This never costs you anything extra.

We check products when we add them, but prices, stock and product details change all the time and we can’t guarantee them. The shop’s own page is the one that counts.

Holiday customs

Our pages share ideas and inspiration, not halachic rulings. For questions about how to observe a holiday, please ask your rabbi.

Our content

The words, illustrations, characters, photos and printables on It’s Yom Tov belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us.

If you join our email list or our WhatsApp community, we’ll send you holiday ideas, updates and the occasional sale. You can unsubscribe from any email or leave the WhatsApp community at any time.

How we handle your email address is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Links to other websites

We link to many other websites. We don’t control them, and we aren’t responsible for their content, products or privacy practices.

No guarantees

We work hard to keep the site accurate and useful, but we provide it “as is”, without any promise that it will always be available, free of errors or right for your needs. To the fullest extent the law allows, It’s Yom Tov is not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the site, from following an idea on it, or from a product you buy through one of our links.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
